Prism & Frost

Cruiser Laser 300 Beam is designed for productions where a beam must remain sharp and visible over a long distance. Its main advantage is the combination of a tight 0.8° laser beam, four prism choices and an IP66 magnesium-alloy housing. Lighting designers gain strong aerial impact from high trusses or rear positions, while rental companies get an outdoor fixture that can serve stadium shows, festivals and touring concerts.
The 0.8° beam forms a concentrated column of light that stays clearly defined through haze. Even when the fixture is installed high above the stage or far from the performance area, the beam keeps the narrow look expected from a laser moving head.
For a lighting designer, that means the fixture can create a clear focal line across a stadium, festival site or large concert venue instead of disappearing into the background. Electronic focus also keeps gobos and prism effects sharp when the throw distance changes.

The 16-, 6-, 32- and 8-facet prisms change one narrow beam into wide fans, repeated lines or a dense group of beams. Each prism produces a visibly different scale and pattern, so the programmer can match the effect to a musical build, drop or transition.
Nineteen gobos, three color wheels, variable CTO and frost extend that choice from hard, energetic beams to warmer or softer looks. This keeps the fixture useful across more scenes and show styles instead of limiting it to one repeated beam effect.

The sealed IP66 housing helps protect the fixture from rain and dust when weather changes during an outdoor event. Its magnesium-alloy body is designed for repeated transport and installation, giving rental companies a practical option for both open-air productions and large indoor venues.
Copper heat pipes move heat away from the laser source, while aluminum fins provide more surface area for cooling. This helps the fixture control temperature when it runs through rehearsals, sound checks and a full performance.
The customer benefit is simple: more predictable operation during long concerts and festivals, with less concern about heat affecting the fixture during extended use. That matters when the same lights must perform night after night on a touring schedule.

16-bit Pan/Tilt control supports smooth positioning, and automatic position correction helps the fixture return to its programmed point after an unexpected movement. DMX512 and RDM keep addressing, testing and control familiar, helping technicians prepare several units efficiently and helping designers maintain clean, repeatable beam patterns.
Cruiser Laser 300 Beam is suited to festivals, stadium events, touring concerts, theme parks and other large indoor or outdoor productions. It is most attractive when long-distance beam definition is the priority and the designer also needs several prism looks from one IP66 fixture.
Choose Cruiser Laser 300 Beam when a large venue needs a tight, visible beam, varied aerial effects and dependable IP66 protection. |
