Starlink 18A presents light through 18 closely arranged hexagonal apertures, forming a wide, visually complete optical surface.
Each 40W RGBW LED can be controlled individually, transforming the one-meter lighting head into an expressive 18-pixel canvas. Designers can create flowing chases, alternating colours, directional movement and animated patterns across the entire lens array.
The dense optical arrangement produces a refined geometric rhythm and gives the fixture a strong horizontal presence across stages, scenic structures and repeated linear layouts.
The optical system is divided into two independently controlled zones, with nine LEDs on the left and nine on the right. Each zone can move separately across the complete 4°–60° zoom range.
One side can project concentrated 4° beams while the other opens into a broad 60° wash. The two zones can also transition at different speeds or move in contrasting directions, enabling distinctly different beam shapes to coexist within a single fixture.
Combined with individual pixel control, this dual-zone system gives designers independent control over colour, movement and optical character across both halves of the lighting head.
Starlink 18A adds a dedicated Kaleidoscope FX source within each nine-LED zone, introducing a new layer of aerial texture and visual movement.
The two FX modules transform concentrated light into striking multi-coloured patterns that expand through haze and add depth to the space above the stage. They can be used symmetrically for balanced, large-scale looks or programmed separately to create contrasting movement across the two sides of the fixture.
Designers can combine the Kaleidoscope FX with pixel chases, saturated washes and narrow aerial beams, moving smoothly from clean geometric scenes to energetic, multidimensional effects without changing fixtures.
The finely assembled hexagonal lens framework gives Starlink 18A a precise and immediately recognizable appearance.
Each RGBW LED is paired with a dedicated lens to optimize light control and help deliver bright output with a clean, defined outline. Even at lower intensities, the closely arranged apertures form a cohesive graphic pattern, making the fixture face part of the visual composition.
A precision-molded aluminum-alloy housing provides dependable IP65 protection against rain, dust and demanding production environments, making Starlink 18A suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
A specially engineered thermal structure increases heat-dissipation capacity around the lighting head, helping maintain stable output, consistent colour performance and optical clarity throughout concerts, festivals, touring productions and extended shows.
With 18 individually controlled RGBW pixels, two independent 4°–60° zoom zones and dual Kaleidoscope FX modules, Starlink 18A brings wash, beam, pixel and multidimensional aerial effects together across one expansive creative canvas.
